Christmas Card – “Believe”

001
I made this Christmas Card for my Scrappy Girls group in September.
The card on the left is the first group of cards I made for the girls.
I just kept feeling like something was missing from the card, even after we met.
When I started putting stamps away from making the card,
I notice that the CTMH stamp set I was using had a single snowflake stamp
that matched perfectly in the snowflake punch I used for the center
of the big MFT snowflake die.  Ta da – that was what it needed.

002 003 004 005I love this little fun Stampin Up Stamp sentiment I used on the inside.
006Thanks for sharing in my project that came together after the fact.
Do you ever have a project like that?
Just needs a little something else? What do you do?

Nativity Scene

Hello Ai Fans!
Today I am using Ai Nativity Scene #J743 and May the Hope #H4084.
I love this stamp and the sentiment.  It is the simplicity of the
stamp that I love so much.  With Christmas soon upon us,
I wanted to ink it up and share it with you.

My Ai DT term has ended and it is time for me to say farewell.
I am truly blessed to have been able to serve on the DT  for the past six months,
Art Impressions is the best company to work with.
Thank you !

May you enjoy the simple moments this holiday season
as you spend time with loved ones.
Today is special to me, 28 years ago
I married my best friend.
Our journey together is not what we expected,
but I still enjoy quietly sitting together holding my Brad’s hand.
For me it is the simple moments that mean the most at the end of the day.
Happy 28th Anniversary – Brad!

Holly Jolly Christmas

Hello Ai Fans!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I was surrounded by loved ones enjoying
a delicious meal together.  I am truly blessed!
Sending out Christmas cards is my next big project.
With many cards to make and send,
I like to keep it simple. I have been stamping with
Joyful Christmas Set #4314 and Holly Jolly #G4168.
I added a little bling with silver paper and blue rhinestones.

Snowman

Snowman 0011

 Hello Ai Fans!

It is Rhonda here, with a Snowman Christmas card.
I used Joyful Christmas Set #4314.
Do you have your Christmas cards made and ready
to mail?  Christmas will be here before we know it.
Art Impressions Christmas Stamps are fun to use and
help get the creative mojo flowing.

Snowman 0021 I used MS around the page snowflake punch.
Then I used some of the snowflakes as embellishments.
I colored the snowman with Prismacolor penceils and
Sketch Copic marker #BOOO around the outside edge.
I then blended BOOO with the Copic Blender.

Happy New Year – 2013

I know I have been MIA during the Christmas season.  I was busy making and doing, spending time with family and friends, as well as keeping up with the daily routine.  It was all fun and at times overwhelming, but all worth it.   (A goal of mine for this year is to be consistent on my blog .  What is a goal you have for the new year?)

I baked 12 apple pies to give to family, friends, and our workers at the farm.  I am happy we have a Community Co Op in our area, one 2/3 bushel of granny smith apples made 12 pies.  I crotchet together over 15 curly scarfs for Christmas gifts.  Oh how I wish I would have taken pictures of the apple pies and scarfs.  Worked on a few different Christmas cards.  I played with glitter and vinyl to make my Scrappy Friends Christmas ornaments.  I tried two new recipes from www.food.com.  The recipes were a hit with family :)!

Here are a few pics of my Christmas Creativity:
