Retro Mod Clocks

Hello Scrappy Friends!

Today I am using an oldie but goodie for FWF at Unity,
Retro Mod Clocks

I purchased this set a long time ago, came across it and decided to ink it up.
I love the sentiments in the set ; )

Stamp Up Clear Oval Accent Bigz Die,
then stamped clock with StazOn Ink Timber Brown the vellum.

Punched heart and attached to face of clock with a brad.  Stamped sentiment and punched

I bought a lot(40 plus stamps) of Unity Stamps from “House Built of Cards” and this was in it.

Happy Birthday Kary!

Today is Friends with Flair over at Unity – yippeee!  It is always fun to ink up Unity Stamps, to watch a creation unfold itself.  It is also my niece’s birthday, Happy Birthday Kary!  Her big day is Sunday, but I knew I wanted to use the Phyllis Harris Stamp, Listen from the Hearts , for Kary’s card.  Kary loves horses!!  This is my creation . . .

I used Copic Markers to color the image.  I am still working on coloring larger areas.  I have a wonderful friend who loves to color, she keeps saying practice, practice, practice.  That is what I am doing.  I used Spellbinder die Scalloped Labels One, MS punch, SU punch,  Quickutz banner die and Viva Decor for little flowers.  The stamp on the inside is from The Stamps of Life.

Thanks for sharing a moment with me.  Have a Blessing filled Day!

Hoppy Birthday

Friends with Flair at Unity is today.  I used Phyllis Harris stamp “Hoppy Birthday”.  I am giving it to a special little guy who is not so little anymore – a BIG 13! This stamp so reminds me of Noah, he loves to be outside!

I used honeycomb embossing folder, hexagon dies, safety pins, ribbon, Prismacolor pencils, glossy accents, and lots of love.

“Welcome” – Friends with Flair

Recently we had some friends come and visit from Nebraska.  We had a wonderful time!  I made this card to say “thanks” for the coming and to come back soon!  We need to tell those we love how much we appreciate them and how important they are in our lives.  Life isn’t about things, it is people and how we treat them.

I used the door front from the March 2012 kit of the Month.  I added Sizzix swirls, flowers from punch, colored with Copic, Spellbinder Rectangle die in back, Cheery Lynn die on the inside.

I cut out a scallop oval, cut it in half and stamped ‘Welcome” on it for a door mat.

A little eye candy for postal person!!

Thanks for sharing some time with me today and have a Scrappy Fun Day!
I am entering this card over at Unity – Friends with Flair.

New Life

Good morning!  Thanks for joining me this morning.  Spring is here and the lawn mower has been running along with the weed eater.  I love the smell of mowed grass in the spring and seeing all the spring flowers burst open with color.  New life – miracles – hope, all come to my mind this time of year. With those thoughts, I will share my following little creation ….

I used Unity Stamp set, Lil’Inker Design dies, Stampin’ Up sentiment on inside, and heart border punch I picked up at Michaels.

This card was made for a very special couple, they are expecting their first baby!!!

They will be awesome parents.  Babies are a gift from the Lord!

Babies fill our hearts with love overflowing – new life – miracles – hope!

Have some scrappy fun today!

What shall I give You?

Today is Friends with Flair over at Unity Stamp Company, the creative mojo is flowing there.  Go check them out!

I used Phyllis Harris Stamp “I Will Give You My Heart” at Unity Stamp Company.

I used Oval Spellbindes Die and placed part of the image outside the die .  Highlighted with yellow ink. I then cut Scalloped Oval Spellbinders in red and Circle Spellbinders in Navy.  I pierced navy paper to accent red scallop oval.

I added blue frilly yarn, greenery, flowers, and banner.  For the greenery I used MS punch and Sizzix leaf.  For the flowers a small flower punch I found at a yard sale.  Center of flowers I used yellow Stickles. The banner I fussy stamped wording in a straight line and then cut it out.  On the card base I embossed with Cuttlebug Hearts and Swirls.

I love Unity Stamps, especially Phyllis Harris!  I have a confession to make – a while back Phyllis Harris stamps were on sale at Unity and I bought them.  You will be seeing more of her stamps.

Thanks for sharing some time with me.

I love Phyllis Harris Stamps at Unity! I spoiled myself and ordered her new stamps a couple of weekends ago when the stamps were on sale.  Gotta love a sale!!!

I colored the girl with Copic markers, used Tim Holts “Scattered straw” distress ink, SU embossing folders Fancy Fan Folder and Square Lattice Folder, corner rounder, Art Philosophy Cartridge, Spellbinder Label Seventeen, two little EK flower punches and dark brown Viva Decor.

I made this card for a dear friend with the hope to brighten her day.  :)  Thanks for sharing your time with me.  May your part of the world be filled with Sunshine!!

no dream is too BIG!!

Made this card for my Jon. He is attending college at EIU.  I needed to mail him some papers and thought it would brighten his day to be surprised with a card as well.

The stamp is from Unity by Phyllis Harris – “determination”.

I used Copics to color, Spellbinder dies, and SU punches.

The inside stamp is from Unity as well.  I am not sure what the name of it is, I purchased a box of used Unity stamps off line.

The red stamp at the side is from Stampin Up.

Thanks for sharing your time with me!
